If elected to City Council District 15, our stray and feral cat population will be getting the attention needed to live without fear of harm in their colonies. Proper education with management companies and property owners will be a priority. Creating jobs for certified TNR Animal Rescuers with the city will be done. Other states and their case studies proven that when jobs are created for TNR, counties one by one within the state are maintained the right way, not just on the hard working backs of volunteers and Animal Rescue groups that are not funded properly to handle the demand! As a 17+ year certified TNR Animal Rescuer here in all areas of the Bronx, I speak from experience and will give our Animal Rescuers the place of honor that they deserve.
